Emails

As always I have been receiving a steady flow of e-mails lately from readers with technical questions related to tutorials published here on this site. I have always been happy to reply to these queries in the past, and hope to be able to continue to do so in a new format.

One thing that I have noticed over the last couple of years is that I regularly receive the same queries from different people, and end up sending out near-identical replies. A better approach would be to allow people to post their queries in a forum to receive a reply from myself or others, or better still to allow people to add the queries directly to the bottom of the tutorials in question.

Version 5 of this web site will offer this functionality. In the meantime while I am busily working on this, I will no longer be answering e-mails of a technical nature one-by-one. I aim to have the revised version ready for March at the latest, but as it is a complete redesign being done on a part time basis, progress is slow but steady! Sorry about the lack of e-mail response in the meantime, I hope to make up for this by taking an active role in the forum when it goes live. Thanks.
